City Council Meeting and Budget Hearing. The City of Windsor Heights will soon review and approve a city budget for the next fiscal year. The city budget gets approved every year in March and is effective the following July 1. The budget process also includes approving the city's capital improvement plan, which dictates what major projects, like water line replacement, road resurfacing, etc, that the city will complete during the next several fiscal years.  There will be a formal public hearing scheduled for March 7th at 6:00 p.m.  in Council Chambers during the Council Meeting.   The budget can be viewed here.  It is a large file and may take several minutes to download.  A full copy is also available at City Hall and a copy was left in the reading area at Grounds For Celebration.  The budget was presented at the February 21st Council meeting, discussed and reviewed more in-depth at the February 23rd study session.  A citizen's budget information session was held on February 26th.  If you have any questions regarding the budget, please do not hesitate to contact the City Administrator at 279-3662.

  

Windsor Heights Chamber Spaghetti Dinner: The Chamber's annual spaghetti dinner is on March 22nd in the Community Center, doors will open at 5:00 p.m. and the dinner will end at 7:00 p.m. If you are interested in tickets, please visit the Windsor Heights city hall or puchase your tickets at the door.  Tickets are $6 per person or $20 for a family of four.
