Public informational meeting and council meeting to be in the Community Center: Learn about TIF and learn about a potential bond issue
Please join city council and staff on November 1st at 5:30 p.m. at the Community and Events Center in Colby Park to learn about Tax Increment Financing and to discuss the details of a possible bond issue.  The regularly-scheduled Council meeting for November 1st will begin at 6:30 p.m., instead of 6:00 p.m. and will be at the Community and Events Center.  The public hearing for the 2011B bond issue has been continued to that meeting.  Hope to see you there!
 

 

Beggar's Night
Children will make the rounds to go trick or treating this year on Saturday, October 30, from 6:00- 8:00 pm. Turn your porch light on if you want to host little visitors and if you are out driving please take special care during this time.
 

 


2010 Election: Election Day is right around the corner, polls will open at 7 am on Nov 2nd and close at 9 pm.   To find your voting location, click this link and visit the Iowa Secretary of State's website.  

Windsor Heights has three voting districts designated as WH1, WH2, and WH3. WH1 residents vote at the Windsor Lutheran Church, 1240 66th Street. WH2 residents vote at City Hall, 1133 66th St. WH3 residents vote at the Walnut Creek Community Church, 900 64th St.
