Garbage Collection Day Change
Effective December 1, Windsor Heights' residents will have their garbage/recycling/yard waste collected on Friday only. Recycling will still be every other Friday. Public Works Director Jason VanAusdall is a proponent for this one time a week change. VanAusdall said, "No longer will there be confusion over which day trash is to be picked up. Additionally, Jason notes, "...by consolidating trash, recycling, and yard waste to same day pick-up there is less opportunity for accidents to happen and only one day of trucks traveling through the neighborhoods."
