On behalf of the Windsor Heights Neighborhood Association, we would like to take the opportunity to thank the Windsor Heights Fire and Police Departments for the work they do serving our city. To show our appreciation, we have an upcoming event to honor them.

On Tuesday, September 21st at 6:30 pm, the Neighborhood Association will be having a ceremony to dedicate a tree and commemorative plaque at the Community Center in Colby Park.  We would like as many residents as possible to attend to show our appreciation.  In addition to the dedication, we would also like Windsor Heights residents to drop off treats, food, snack items, or even just a simple thank you card throughout the week of Sept 20-26 at the Fire Station / City Hall for the staff. If dropping off any food item, it is suggested to use a disposable container since it may be difficult to return it to the appropriate owner.  Please join us in recognizing the men and women of both departments.

Following the dedication ceremony, we will hold our Fall Quarterly meeting for the WHNA in the Community Center until about 8 pm.  This meeting will be a great opportunity to recap and share any speical memories from the recent City Wide Ice Cream Socials.  We will also discuss many other upcoming events such as Oktoberfest, Halloween Trick-or-Treat Ideas and listen to the members to see what other community involvement you would like the WHNA to participate in.  Refreshments will be provided.  We hope to see you there. As always, we appreciate all efforts to bring a neighbor or a new resident.  Thank You.
