REMINDER: KWHB Annual Fall Clean-Up Day!

Please join the Keep Windsor Heights Beautiful committee on Saturday, September 18 for the Windsor Heights Fall Clean-Up Day. Meet in the Sam's parking lot north of Burger King at 8:30 a.m. You'll get gloves, refuse bags and an assigned clean-up area....everything you'll need to do your part to keep our community beautiful. We'll wrap up at 10:30 a.m. Refreshments will be available. You'll have a chance to meet new neighbors and see old friends. We hope you'll join us! Neighborhood Watch will be sponsoring a Chicken Noodle Mashed Potato Dinner: The Watch is happy to announce we are going to have a Chicken Noodle, Mashed Potato dinner for the residents of Windsor Heights its just our way of saying thank you for making our watch such a success. The dinner is scheduled for Saturday, September 18th, please click here for more information

September is Emergency Management Month:  Polk County Emergency Management has resources and information available on how to prepare yourself, family, business, pets, etc on being safe during a time of disaster.  Please visit Polk County Emergency Management for more information. 

 
 

Windsor Heights City Council:  The next Windsor Heights regularly scheduled city council meeting will be another award winning Takin it to the Streets meeting, held on the 80th Street cul-de-sac, which is north or Marilyn Drive and 80th Street.  The meeting will start at 6:00 pm.  Some chairs will be set up, but in order to secure you own chair, you may want to bring your own lawn chair.  The agenda for this meeting will be uploaded on Thursday, September 16th and viewable from this link.

The Windsor Heights City Council will also meet during a study session on Thursday, September at 16, 2010.  Click here to review the agenda.
