Please remember to join us tonight for our next Movie in the Park, Hotel for Dogs.  This family friendly movie will start at dusk and as always, we will have free popcorn for everyone.  In addition, the Windsor Heights Dog Park, which is located just south of Colby Park and I-235 along the bike path, will be open for the public to use and enjoy. 

 

Come early and check out several interesting pet friendly groups. 

 

Petco will be in the park at 7:00 pm distributing free frisbees for dogs.  Also on hand from 7 - 8 pm will be the Raccoon Valley Animal Sanctuary & Rescue.  Featured will be Keena, canine ambassador and movie star who you won't want to miss.  Another important organization in the world of pets is the Pet Project Midwest, operators of a local Pet Pantry, in conjunction with the Des Moines Area Religious Council's Food Pantry.
