Dear Friends,

It's hard to believe, but we're in the midst of preparations for our FOURTH

annual July 4th Tea Party!  Thirty organizations participated in 2011's event.

We hope you plan to be with us again this year!

Our PROUD theme is American Exceptionalism, to be reflected

throughout our program.   Another very popular band, Madison RISING,

will be playing in addition to 286 BAND, who've thankfully been with us

since April 2009.  Our celebration is family oriented and child friendly.

Balloon twisters and face painters will be armed and ready to employ

their unique talents for your young ones.

In addition to our GREAT speakers listed above, there's the Awards

Ceremony where special efforts by Grassroots Patriots are recognized.

Ryan Manion Borek, a founder and head of The Travis Manion

Foundation, is our 2012 Patriot of the Year. Rich Davisfounder

and head of the American Sheepdogs is the recipient of the George

Washington Leadership Award.  And the winners of the Betsy Ross

Activist of the Year Award are: John Radell (DE), Faith and Freedom

 of DelawareCort Rosholt (NJ), Independence Hall Tea Party;

Lisa Esler (PA), Delaware County Patriots and Lin DeCesare (PA),

 Independence Hall Tea Party.

Predictably, Occupy Groups also plan to be on Independence Mall.

At a recent press conference, one of their spokespersons said they'd

"allow" Independence Hall Tea Party to have their July 4th Tea Party

uninterrupted.  Ha!  More reliably, we've been assured by the Park

Service of ample security, and extra protective measures to insure our

event won't be disrupted. Rangers from other National Park locations

 will be on hand.

Surely most understand the importance of maintaining a strong

Tea Party/Conservative prescence at Independence Hall on

Independence Day, perhaps now more than ever!

The cost of GRASSROOT organization ads is $35 for a third of a page,

(approximately 2.8 by 5.5). Groups usually include their logos. A tent/table

for your group is also $35.  Both an ad AND a tent/table is $50.To be

considered Co-Hosts you can purchase either or both, but you must E-mail

your lists and promote the event to your groups as soon as possible.

Please E-mail the ads to Teriaa222@yahoo.com by Sunday, July 1st.  All

ads should be in Word Perfect and Camera Ready. Please also indicate whether your group will be getting a tent/table and the total amount you paid.

To keep it simple, we ask that everyone pay online by credit card at

The Independence Hall Tea Party Association formed in 2009 after historic February 28 and April 18 Tea Parties on Independence Mall.  It is the oldest and largest independent grassroots Tea Party organization in the tri-state (DE, NJ, PA) region.

The Association's mission is to educate the general public regarding the principles of limited government as enshrined in the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution.
