Dear Members and Friends,
Last year, we began a tradition of annoucing the Association's Betsy Ross Activist of the Year for Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania on Flag Day.
The awards were then presented to Kristin Sherman (DE); Bill Miller (NJ);
Phil Schieber and Carol Klein (PA) during last year's July 4th Energy Independence Day Tea Party.
The main criterion for award consideration was that the recipient be a
current extraordinary voluteer committed to the principles of the Tea Party movement and that they not be a group leader. (We have since dropped the second requirement.)
The Association Board of Directors is proud to announce its selections for
2012 Betsy Ross Activist of the Year:
DE: John Radell, Faith & Freedom Coalition of Delaware;
NJ: Cort Rosholt, Independence Hall Tea Party Association;
PA: Lin DeCesare, Independence Hall Tea Party Association;
PA: Lisa Esler, Delaware County Patriots
We congratulate the winners and will honor them with a press release and a write-up on our website--as well as present them with a Betsy Ross Flag in a special Awards Ceremony during our 2012 American Exceptionalism
July 4th Tea Party.
