Governor Mitt Romney To Address Tri-State Tax Day Tea Summit

Philadelphia, PA (April 16, 2012) -- The Independence Hall Tea Party Association, the oldest and largest grass roots Tea Party group in the tri-state region (DE, NJ, PA), will host a Tax Day Tea Summit with Governor Mitt Romney this evening (6:30 PM), at the Franklin Institute, Philadelphia.

"This tax day, the economic freedom of Americans continues to be under assault from the Obama Administration," said Association President Teri Adams. 

"Governor Romney realizes that the tax burden must be reduced across the board and that the economy must be given a chance to make a full recovery."

"While we have sponsored events with presidential hopefuls in the past, this time we are featuring the presumptive nominee of the Republican party.

"We are extremely honored that Governor Romney, as well as the other conservative US Senatorial candidates joining us this evening, recognize the importance of the Tea Party movement in political discourse."
