Independence Hall Tea Party Features Governor Mitt Romney
During Its 4th Annual Tax Day Event to be Held
at the Franklin Institute
Philadelphia, PA (April 13, 2012) -- The Independence Hall Tea Party Association, the oldest and largest grass roots Tea Party group in the tri-state region (DE, NJ, PA), has announced, today, that Governor Mitt Romney will give an address at its Tri-State Tax Day Tea Summit to be held this year at the Franklin Institute on Monday, April 16.
"The Association is extremely honored to present Governor Romney," said
Association President Teri Adams. "While we have sponsored events with presidential hopefuls in the past, this time we are featuring the presumptive nominee of the Republican party."
"We have an Honorary Host Committee of various Tea Party and conservative groups from throughout the tri-state region. And in a show of unity, a number of elected officials have also lent their names to this event.
The Association's PAC formally endorsed Governor Romney on the eve of the Iowa Caucus, January 2, 2012.
