Association to Hold A Tri-State Repeal ObamaCare Press Conference with Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick (R-PA), Congressional Candidate Anna Little (R-NJ), and
US Senate Candidate Kevin Wade (R-DE)
Philadelphia (March 23, 2012) -- To mark the 2nd Anniversary of the passage of ObamaCare (March 23, 2010), the Independence Hall Tea Party Association is holding a Tri-State Repeal ObamaCare Press Conference, today, to remind the President, Congress, state legislators, the media, and the public-at-large that nearly two out of every three Americans now oppose the enactment of this law.
The Association will be joined by Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick; a spokesman for Senator Pat Toomey; several Congressional Candidates; small business folks; local Tea Party activists; and a former White House speech writer and Health Care Executive, to discuss the overwhelming negative consequences of ObamaCare.
"As time passes, the number of ObamaCare opponents keeps growing," said Association President, Teri Adams.
"Perhaps it's due to the fact that the Congressional Budget Office now puts the cost of ObamaCare at more than two trillion dollars--more than double
its original estimate of less than a trillion dollars.
"The Association has steadfastly opposed ObamaCare over the past three years, sending buses to DC and Harrisburg to voice objection to it and rallying in support of legislation such as PA State Representative Matt Baker's HB 42 allowing Pennsylvania to opt out of ObamaCare and the Repeal ObamaCare bill passed, last year, by the US House of Representatives."
