Dear Members and Friends,
This
Veteran's Day, if you're in search of inspirational reading material regarding the honorable military service of loved ones, we suggest
Rita Cosby's Book--
Quiet Hero "Secrets from My Father's Past" (details below).
This compelling book, now out in paperback, has made the bestseller's list. Rita Cosby, an Association friend, attended our Christmas Tea Party Commemoration last year and signed copies of Quiet Hero. All of us, who have read the book, have been deeply moved.
QUIET HERO
"Secrets From My Father's Past"
NOW in PAPERBACK...at www.quiethero.org.
Thankfully, Veteran's Day, for many patriots in our nation and region, is everyday. To honor our troops all year long, we suggest the following:
1. A Hero's Welcome/Warriors' Watch
When: Anytime our Troops return from missions overseas.
Where: Philadelphia International Airport and other locations.
A Hero's Welcome and Warriors' Watch faithfully greet our troops as they return from service abroad. We commend their efforts!
For more information, contact Charlie Becker, charliebecker@verizon.net or
www.aheros-welcome.org/ or www.warriorswatch.org.
2. Support the Troops Rally
When: Every Saturday, 11 AM - 12 Noon
Where: Chester County Courthouse, High & Market Streets, West Chester, PA
Thanks to the dedication of Rich Davis and others, the American Sheepdogs have visibly supported our troops, for many years, by holding consecutive Saturday rallies on the busiest Street in West Chester.
Believe it or not, opponents hold a concurrent (smaller) counter rally.

3. Gathering of Eagles
The Gathering of Eagles is an amazing organization dedicated to serving
homeless and disabled veterans. For more details, please call Chris Hill @ 215.290.0705.
Hope to see you soon. Happy Veteran's Day!
On behalf of the Association Board of Directors,
Teri Adams, President
