Press Conference with Newt Gingrich before Philly Film Premiere

Philadelphia, PA (September 27, 2011) --  The Independence Hall Tea Party Association welcomes Presidential candidate Newt Gingrich and his wife, Callista, to Philadelphia, today, for the local premiere showing of their film, A City Upon A Hill.

According to the latest CNN poll, Newt Gingrich is currently polling 3rd in the Republican Presidential Primary race--a recent uptick in his numbers--suggesting that the former House Speaker is gaining traction among Republican voters.

A 6 PM Press Conference will take place, today, at the Independence Visitor Center Ballroom, 6th and Market Streets.  There will be a 7 PM

Q & A with Speaker Gingrich, moderated by WPHT 1210 AM talk show host, Dom Giordano.  The film screening will immediately follow at 7:30 PM.

"While we are extremely honored to have Speaker Gingrich address our group, our sponsorship of this event should not be construed as a Presidential endorsement," said Association President, Teri Adams.

"Speaker Gingrich is the second presidential candidate we have sponsored in recent months.  We were fortunate to have Herman Cain on July 4th and we hope to attract several more candidates in the months ahead."

Members of the press are asked to confirm their attendance at the Conference by using the above contact information.
