Dear Georgia Rural Health Association Members,
In an effort to help with the increasing costs of prescription drugs, the Georgia Rural Health Association has partnered with a new prescription assistance program called the Georgia Drug Card.
Free to all Georgia residents, the Georgia Drug Card can be used for a savings of up to 75 percent on prescription drugs at most retail pharmacies. Benefits include no applications to complete, no membership restrictions, no income requirements, and no age limitations.
To print the card, click on the Georgia Drug Card logo off of our website at www.grhainfo.org and follow the steps. It is accepted at any CVS/pharmacy in Georgia and all someone has to do is ask the pharmacist to process their prescription using the Georgia Drug Card. Please tell your patients, work colleagues, friends and family about this great way to save on the costs of prescription drugs.
Thank you for working to improve the health and healthcare services of rural Georgians.
Sincerely,
Matt Caseman

Please help get the word out about the Planning for Healthy BabiesSM (P4HB) program. This is Georgia's family planning demonstration waiver created by the Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH). The program was developed to assist the Department in reducing the number of low birth weight (LBW) and very low birth weight (VLBW) births in Georgia. LBW is defined as babies born weighing less than 2500 grams (5 pounds, 8 ounces) and VLBW is the category of babies born weighing less than 1500 grams (3 pounds, 5 ounces). To read more click here.
