NRHA is conducting a research project in conjunction with Emory University and the Centers for Disease Control that will employ the utilization of focus groups comprised of rural men to examine their perceptions and behaviors regarding prostate cancer and prostate health. NRHA will be selecting two test sites with a total award of $49,000 per site. If interested, click here to review the RFP and contact Dustin Summers at dsummers@nrharural.org with any additional questions. The submission deadline is August 1, with a tentative selection date of August 15.
Tell Us Your Success Story

GRHA is surveying communities across the state to compile a database reflecting best practices we all can use to improve rural health. Designed with your time in mind, the components of the brief survey include  who is offering the program, what the program goals are, who the program serves, why it is offered, the impact it has in the community/state, and staff contact information.

Get Active
Join lunch box advocates from across the country and ask
LunchboxCongress to invest one more dollar for every child. Millions of kids eat lunch (and sometimes breakfast) at school every day. We are growing a generation of Americans who think healthy food is cheap food, and who don't have the skills to make better decisions about what they eat. This year, Congress has a chance to transform how we feed children in the U.S. when it reauthorizes the Children Nutrition and WIC Act. Please speak up for kids and demand higher standards and a greater investment in our National School Lunch Program.

You can make a big difference for the health of our children in just 5 minutes. That's all it will take to learn the issues and send an email to your elected officials.
