the 15th during the 8th month of the Chinese Lunar Calendar. Dating
back over 3,000 years ago to China's Zhou Dynasty, and also known as the
Mid-Autumn Festival, this date marks the exact middle of autumn when
the moon is at its fullest, roundest, and brightest. The Moon Festival
is one of the most important Chinese holidays and celebrations.
