Hopefully you have received the latest version of Sage Timberline Office.They begin shipping on 05/03/10. There are several great new features including additional operating platforms. Enhanced payroll reporting using Aatrix including over 250 state required forms. One of the best additions is Office Connector Starter from Event 1 Software. Please find more information below. Overview
Office Connector Starter is now included with the latest version. What is it? Office Connector Starter delivers a set of predefined Excel-based reports that can be run with just a click of your mouse. I will review my top two templates that are included below.
Dashboard- our #1 template

This report provides a high-level view of the various Sage Timberline Office applications allowing you to see
at a glance which applications contain un-posted transactions.

Job List our #2 rated template


This report produces a list of current jobs, for each job, you can click a hyperlink that takes you to an online map or weather information for the job site. Since it is in Excel, employees can download the spreadsheet to their cell phones, links for maps make it easy to find the Starbucks that is close by. Plenty of other uses as well.
I suggest that you start with the short videos. If you want to learn more just give us a call to be included in our next webinar. Not only can you Query information but with the "Write" edition you can actually write back from Excel to the STO database. Including:

  • Pay Rates
  • Contact Information
  • Employee Records
The "Import" version allows for the import of:
