"The glow light and duct tape ingenuity of "Darwin" is the kind of magic-on-a-shoestring that is only possible in the theater. You can't get this at the movies or in a DVD.  Taking your kids to see Darwin the Magical Dinosaur teaches them why live theater will never go extinct." - New York Post
Greetings!

Last July 1st saw the European premiere of The Adventures of Darwin the Dinosaur at Deutsches Theater in Munich, where it played for 4 weeks. Further engagements included the Nokia Theater in Tallinn, Estonia and the Bremen Theater in Copenhagen. One of the performances in Copenhagen was attended by the Danish Crown Prince and his children.
Everywhere audience response was more then overwelming and press reviews were extremely positive.

We are currently in the process of booking the show for October, November and December of 2011.

We have a confirmed 2 week run in Russia from 25th October until 6th November of 2011.

About the show
red darwin

The Adventures of Darwin the Dinosaur is a family show, suitable for children age 5 and up and has played venues up to a capacity of 3000 seats.

It is a wonderful hour of fantasy that combines ancient, wordless story telling with modern technology and music - both orchestral and pop. 40 different characters are performed by 6 artists in ingenious high-tech LED-lit costumes and puppets that light up in the dark as crayon-like creatures.

The show tells a story of a good-natured dinosaur discovering the outside world.Created, choreographed and directed by Ian Carney and Corbin Popp, both veteran performers from Twyla Tharp's dance company, "Darwin" is rich on technologically dazzling visuals that today's kids relish. It also promotes appreciation for puppetry and movement, art forms that resonate best in live performance.
GEA produces and manages shows for international touring. We specialize in non-language shows that can be enjoyed in any cultural environment and by a wide demographic.
We also produce tailor-made shows for long running engagements in specific venues and for special events. Please, visit our website for more information about our company and shows: www.gealive.com
