Lampstand Presbyterian Church and the Lost Bridge Great Banquet Community will be hosting the :
National Great Banquet & Awakening Conference September 16 - 18, 2010
It will be a celebration of 20 years of the Great Banquet movement. It will provide wonderful opportunities for communities and individuals to connect in worship, prayer and fellowship. People will be traveling from all over the United States. Would you be willing to host a few people in your home? This would help to defray their expenses and allow you another opportunity to connect with fellow Christians. We will be in need of homes for adults and especially for youth. Please contact the Berta Pitzer at 217 428-8839 or berta.pitzer@lampstandpc.org to indicate your willingness to open your home to these guests. Please let us know if you can only accommodate adults or if you are willing to share this experience with a few Jesus-loving youth!

guests and team members on all weekends! Nuts, fruits, veggies and meat &
cheese platters will be enjoyed, along with sweet treats! Please drop them off
in the office.
And make sure to retrieve your containers from previous weekends. Many remain - please reclaim them, refill them and return them for the upcoming banquet weekend!

When you sign up to serve a meal - please be aware that you are making a FIRM COMMITMENT of 2 HOURS. That is the amount of time the kitchen team will be counting on your help! And remember - if you are unable to fulfill your commitment: please find a substitute and let Rose Hauskins know of the change (217 433-8526). You can sign-up to serve by calling the office during the week (217 428-8839).
