THE COUNSELING AND COACHING CONNECTION:
I offer macrobiotic and vegan individual consultations and coaching sessions. I also do group seminars, workshops and cooking demonstrations. I can do the coaching and consultation over the phone or in person. My technical support team is working on setting up Skype and webcams to help with our long distance cooking classes and our consultations.

Health Classics Conference, Santa Barbara, California - January 6th-9th, 2011
Join Marlene at the 20th Annual Health Classics Conference to be held this week at the Hotel Mar Monte in beautiful Santa Barbara. Marlene will be presenting two workshops: "Radiant Health from the Inside Out" with Dr. Ron Peters (author of Edgework: Exploring the Psychology of Disease), and "Alkaline by Design - Which are You?" When Hope Never Dies - Revised Edition
Exciting news! Marlene will soon be launching a revised edition of "When Hope Never Dies" to coincide with her 25th anniversary of being cancer-free!
Marlene was honored to have Dr. T. Colin Campbell (co-author of The China Study) to write the foreword, and to have Dr. George Yu write a medical foreword. The new edition contains an updated and expanded Wellness Guide, with recipes and practical tips and suggestions. Publication is slated for early spring 2011.

Coming Soon to a Cinema Near You:
Forks Over Knives
Marlene attended the successful,
"sold-out" private screening of this wonderful movie in Manhattan in December 2010. She had the privilege of attending a VIP reception with the executive producer, Brian Wendel, and Rick Esselstyn (son of Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn) who was featured in the movie.
A beautifully executed documentary, it details the benefits of plant-based nutrition and explores the relationship between meat and dairy consumption and many of our modern diseases. The film features two pioneers of nutritional intervention, Dr. T. Colin Campbell and Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, and follows real-life stories of people, from all walks of life, overcoming illness and regaining their health through nutrition. The film is packed with interesting facts, expertly-done animations, served up with a dose of humor.
