• United World Committee Meeting, Friday, October 12, 8:15 a.m. in the US Private Dining Room. More about the UWC on the OCC! 
• Middle and Upper School Grandparents' Day, Friday, October 12  
• Please join us for Moms in Prayer on Thursdays from 8:15-9:15 a.m. in the Chapel. 
• Flu Shots available at CCES: On Tuesday, October 23, in the Middle School Conference Room from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., flu shots will be available for faculty, staff, and parents. Cost is $25/inoculation.

• Saturday, October 13, 2012: Sophomores Cotes Delaney and Ian Miller's project, Race for Heroes (5K race).

• Afternoon Encounters' Holiday Camp Schedule is available now!   
• Cavalier Kudos to: Congratulations to the CCES girls and boys swim teams and coaches for their performances at the 3A state championship meet. The meet was held this past Saturday at the University of South Carolina.  The girls team finished in 5th place and the boys finished in 6th. Sydney Baker (8th grade) won the 100 Yard Breaststroke and finished 3rd in the 200 Yard Freestyle. Way to go Cavs! 

• For all Lower, Middle, and Upper School Parents:

  Pictures of your children are wanted for the Hellenian, CCES' yearbook! Whether the pictures are on or off campus, over the summer, or during the school year, the Hellenian staff would like to have them for possible inclusion in this year's book. Please e-mail pictures to Zebellj@cces.org, or bring them to the Upper School office. Thank you!

• Boys Basketball Conditioning Workouts: The Boys Basketball team is holding conditioning workouts for boys interested in playing during the upcoming season who are not currently involved on a fall sports team.
