The United Way of Coastal Georgia, Inc. is pleased to announce, in recognition of outstanding volunteer service and leadership in both Glynn and McIntosh counties, that nominations are now open for the
2011 Coastal Georgia Volunteer of the Year ~
Glynn County
&
2011 Coastal Georgia Volunteer of the Year ~
McIntosh County.
Nominees must have been actively engaged in volunteering for non-profits organizations in Glynn and/or McIntosh Counties over the last 18 months.
Nominees do not have to be a volunteer of United Way or a United Way Funded Agency. Volunteers of all charitable organizations are eligible.
The 2011 Coastal Georgia Volunteer of the Year ~ Glynn County honoree will be notified on or before Tuesday, June 7, 2011.
The Glynn County honoree will be expected to be present to receive the award at the Brunswick Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at the Morgan Center, Jekyll Island Historic District
The 2011 Coastal Georgia Volunteer of the Year ~ McIntosh County honoree will be expected to be present to receive the award at the Darien-McIntosh County Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner Monday, June 27, 2011 at The Buccaneer Club on the Sapelo River in Bellville.
Deadline for nominations is 5:00 pm Tuesday, May 31, 2011.
Nomination forms can be faxed, emailed or hand-delivered to United Way of Coastal Georgia.
