Turn to the Pro Power Solutions Digital Technician Generator
Monitoring System!
The Digital Technician is a wireless
monitoring system that is like having a personal technician watching your
generator 24/7 to ensure that it functions properly. The Digital Technician monitors
and logs the major activity of the generator set, and watches the weekly test
cycle to ensure that the generator is performing as it should. In the event of
a failure alarm, the Digital Technician will automatically notify you (if
desired) and our Service Dispatch Center. We will respond to potential problems
before a power outage occurs - dramatically increasing the reliability of your
emergency power system.
The Digital
Technician system includes:
-
Standard industry software and database tools are
used to deliver alarms and other info via the Internet
- Interactive
Website, Real-Time Notifications, User Definable Alarms, and Remote Programming
-
Multiple
Equipment options available for either wireless or hardwiring
-
System is monitored 24/7/365

Why Customer Service is
Important to Us
|
"If you work just for money, you'll never make
it, but if you love what you're doing and you always put the customer first,
success will be yours." Ray
Kroc
Without
our customers we wouldn't be in business, so it only makes sense to have the
focus of our business revolve around providing excellent customer service. At
Pro Power Solutions we stress this to each and every team member - and hold
everyone accountable to a high standard. According to Barbara Giamanco of
Talent Builders, we are reminded of some of the key points in providing
excellent customer service:
-
Rule #1: Listen! When customers complain
there is a reason. More importantly, it is an opportunity to learn something,
so hear them out without interrupting or arguing.
-
Rule #2: Don't take it personally.
Customer complaints are about products or service that did not live up to their
expectations or the marketing hype. Taking it personally, getting defensive, or
getting angry only makes the situation worse.
-
Rule #3: Offer a sincere apology
for the inconvenience. Put yourself in your customer's shoes. Remember what it
feels like when something you have purchased did not do the job it was supposed
too, or caused an even bigger problem than the one it was supposed to solve.
-
Rule #4: Never say, "It's not my
job or my department or my responsibility." If you work at the company that
made the product or sold the service - it is your job! Make a personal
commitment to do whatever it takes to fix the problem even if it is not in your
job description.
In the
end, only those companies with an ongoing commitment to listen and serve can
consistently keep their customers happy. Pro Power Solutions is committed to
achieving an excellent customer service relationship with you.

Power Solutions & Generac Gemini: Keeping Henry County's Bear Creek Wastewater
Treatment Facility Running
As an outer
suburb of metro Atlanta, Henry County has seen a population explosion in recent
years. The Henry County Water and Sewage Authority is tasked with providing
sewer treatment facilities as well as protecting the watershed in order to
ensure clean sources of water for residents and businesses in the county. With
a population projected to increase by 370,000 over the next twenty years, upkeep
and expansion of the Wastewater Treatment facility is a top priority.
In the first
quarter of 2009, a Generac - Gemini 1 Meg Generator was installed at the Bear Creek Wastewater
Treatment Plant. (See our article on Gemini to learn more). Womack
Electric was the installing electrical contractor, and Arcadis was the
electrical engineer.
Why the Generac's Gemini
was chosen:
-
The Gemini utilizes (2) 500 kW generators in parallel within one enclosure. This
was attractive to the customer because in a typical single engine solution if
you lose your generator there is no redundancy. With the Gemini, if one engine goes down you will still have
500 kW (50%) available in emergency power.
-
Expansion
was important to the customer. Adding multiple units in the future (for future
growth) is simple to do with Generac's system. Also with Generac's paralleling technology, there is no
traditional switchgear, saving space and money.
-
Specifications
called for a sound attenuated enclosure rated 75 dBA at 7 meters. The Gemini
comes standard with a sound attenuated enclosure meeting those ratings
