2009 Clinic Schedule! |

We are adding many new areas to our clinic schedule this year as well as visiting old friends. Check our website for a Clinic near you, or ask about hosting one in your area.
| Breath |
| Use your breath to calm the mind, relax the body and reclaim your natural balance.
To focus on the breath for even a moment is to become completely present in mind and body. When you cultivate your breath you cultivate the spirit. |
| Awareness |
The root of most rider frustration lies with the rider, not the horse! Remember that your horse mirrors everything in your body, good and bad. Look for the changes you want in your horse to come from you. Knowing others is wisdom knowing thy self is enlightenment. |
| Gratitude |
True wisdom endures and remains timelessly relevant. It is my great honor and privilege to be in the presence of and learn from these magnificent four legged masters of power and grace.

At Tai Chi for Equestrians we are dedicated to teaching a healthy and natural way to ride and live for both the rider and the horse.
I believe we can ride well into our 70s, 80s and beyond. If we don't destroy our bodies by riding in ways that pit us (our body) against a force greater than our own (our horse) or use techniques and aids that cause our horse to breakdown, there's no reason we can't.
I am dedicated to bringing this enlightened way of riding to the world so that the goal of "being as one" with your horse is a possibility for every rider whether you are a World Class or Olympic rider , a beginner or somewhere in between.
I am grateful to all of you who have embraced and valued my work over the years. Together we are supporting the deep, healthy relationship that is possible between horse and rider, while elevating skills and developing talent to their highest level.
As my clinic schedule begins in full swing, I am looking forward to seeing all my old friends and meeting many new ones!
Warm regards,
James Shaw James Shaw Healing Arts, LLC |
