Bear's Breech
Grows best in light shade, can burn if planted against the house with direct sun. Blooms all summer, flower stocks are 2-3' tall and purplish with white under tones. Leaves can be up to 1-1/2' wide, lush dark green with deeply cut lobes. May divide after a couple of years, best to seperate in late fall to early spring. Fertilize in spring & fall. |

 Shrub of the Month Corokia...cotoneaster Small leaf evergreen, growns best in a container, but also is a great Bonsai specimen. very slow growing to 10' most of the time they stay around 3-4'. The branches and leaves are very unique to this shrub. Contorted structure with very small and sparse leaves that are a gray/ green color. Add night lighting to illuminate the
interesting form. |
