PERENNIALS of the MONTH
Bleeding Hearts Carol and I had a friendly discussion about the pick for the Perennial of the Month and we both WON - we both got to choose. Carol picked Aquilegia commonly known as columbines -- they have lacy foliage of greens to gold and also varigated green & white - a height from 3" to 3' with flowers ranging in colors from white, pink, purples, yellows & reds with single & double flowers. helleborusI picked Dicentra -- AKA bleeding hearts which has a very feathery foliage of greens and  light gray - flowers of white pinks & reds. Both Columbines & Bleedings Hearts like a woodland type of setting with shade.  Companion plants could include Hostas, Brunnera, Helleborus & Astilbes.

SHRUB of the MONTH
         ROSES
Rose
Hybrid Teas, Grandifloras, Floribundas, Shrubs or Climbing - we have a rainbow of colors & some have intense fragrance while others are disease resistance.  We have many varieties with either buds or blooms just waiting for MOM
Sincerely,
