Recently, SFMG proudly hosted an inspiring evening of satsanga, kirtan and fellowship with Brs. Wolfgang and Troy. We were overjoyed to welcome and share this special event with the over 50 devotees who were able to attend. With Br. Wolfgang's encouragement, we are committed to scheduling many such events in the near future. Please stay tuned for upcoming notices announcing these monastic visits.

 All-Day Chapel Retreat
The San Francisco Meditation Group will be conducting an all-day retreat on October 10th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The activities will include group practice of the Energization Exercises, guided meditation, kirtan, a recorded talk by Master and a video by Brother Anandamoy. All are welcome and
deeply encouraged to attend this opportunity to deepen your spiritual practice in a supportive environment with other devotees. "Why shouldn't you strengthen your own vibrations through fellowship with people seeking Self-realization, and by group meditation with them? This practice will fortify your own spiritual convictions; you will find that many seemingly insuperable barriers in your life will crumble and dissolve in the waters of meditation. Your devotion and love for God will commingle with the devotion and love of others. Divine bliss will radiate from you, helping all persons you meet."-- Paramahansa Yogananda in "Seeking God Together"

 New SRF website
We are pleased to announce the upcoming launch of a new SRF website in the coming weeks. The new website has been in development for some time and will serve as a "virtual ambassador" of the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda and the worldwide organization he founded. It will offer a rich multimedia audio/video experience, with inspirational material from Paramahansaji and a number of his direct disciples. Also featured are kirtan chanting with SRF monastics, guided meditations, and virtual tours of some of the beautiful shrines where our Guru lived and taught -- as well as many other new and exciting features. If you would like to receive an email when the new website launches, as well as ongoing email newsletters from Mother Center, please sign up at the SRF website.
