Br. Jason sends Center Department's gratitude to everyone for their dedicated service to Master this past year.
The SFMG council would also like to thank everyone for their support and contributions and the many thoughtful gestures that keep our group functioning harmoniously. We are very grateful to a couple of anonymous angels for their help in updating our sound system (no more glitches on the CDs!) and keeping our Bolinas retreat going in 2009 (see below). We also very much appreciate the new roof supplied by the building owners this month. Jai Guru!
"I didn't know about that!" Now Constant Contact!
In an ongoing effort to eliminate the frustration associated with the above phrase, SFMG has begun using Constant Contact to deliver our newsletter and keep our members and friends informed about the activities at the chapel. We also have a flier available on the free literature table at the chapel with our quarterly schedule of services and special events. Our web address, of course, remains http://www.srf-sanfrancisco.org.
2009 Retreat
As announced previously, the rates charged by Commonweal for our annual retreat will double this year. However, one of the devotees at SFMG has very generously offered to ensure that the 2009 retreat can be held as scheduled on November 21-22, the weekend before Thanksgiving. The donation requested by SFMG will thus remain $80 for overnight and $40 for the day. We are also investigating other options for the future retreats, so please contact the council if you have suggestions in this regard.
2009 Convocation and Center Representatives Conference
The annual SRF Convocation will be held the week of August 2-9, and the Center Representatives Conference will meet on Saturday, August 1, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lake Shrine.  Anyone who serves at an SRF group or is interested in doing so may attend this special program.  For more information, see the chapel bulletin board or inquire by email.
