Mission at Fourth Presbyterian Church and Chicago Lights Center for Whole Health are one of the many sponsors for this walk and are letting their congregation and community know how to participate in the walk. Your church can participate by becoming a sponsor and/or register online to walk in order to bring about awareness and prevent suicide.

This Basic Interim/Transitional Ministry Education consists of 60 contact hours divided equally between two Residency Weeks -Week I (30 hours) and Week II (30 hours) separated by a Practicum which combines reflection on, and experience in, some aspect of interim/transitional ministry. 

Registration is limited, so please encourage those who are appropriate for this training and this ministry to sign up early!

Jones Center has been a mission of the Presbytery since Church Extension Board received title to their Chicago Heights real estate in 1917 and oversaw its construction in the 1930s. Today, the Jones Center needs a new roof.
