The PPCN Conference for 2011 begins on Wednesday, June 29 at 3:00 pm and concludes at 4:00 pm on the next day, June 30, prior to the opening of the Big Tent Event.

The Middle East Task Force sponsored traveling seminars to Lebanon- Syria and Israel Palestine which were to depart in October have been postponed until March. The unrest in the Middle East and projected problems in Israel/Palestine after the UN vote in September on Palestinian statehood has made postponement seem wise. Watch for exact dates of the reschedule seminars - rescheduling is in process. |

Worship: A survey of God's gifts among us
 The Worship, Music & the Arts Work Group of the Presbytery of Chicago is asking your help in gathering the names of those in our presbytery who are blessed with particular gifts for creating and leading worship; poets and painters, potters and singers, musicians and dancers...and more!
The survey is being circulated to all congregations, clerks of session, clergy, and retired clergy. We'd appreciate receiving your responses by June 15. Click here to fill it out. What we'll do with the names we receive: Our goal is to create a resource for the presbytery that will connect congregations, other ministries, and groups with persons who have particular gifts for worship. CROP Walk Planning Committee
 Serve on the planning committee to help plan the Chicago CROP Hunger Walk. The planning committee deals with a variety of tasks. We need talent and people with contacts to do media/publicity for the Crop Walk, getting sponsors (financial and in kind product) for the walk, and recruit support (telephone, tracking, etc).
