International Sites & Spills Expo
Tom Moses, president of Spill Center, has been invited to participate in the International Sites and Spills Expo in Toronto, Canada, Nov. 3-4. The expo is the newest industry event dedicated to all elements of the hazmat and site remediation industries, including a full conference program as well as a trade show. Expert speakers and panelists, as well as key suppliers of products, services technologies and equipment will gather in Toronto for the event. It is expected to draw daily practitioners in the fields of spill response, firefighting, hazmat management, environmental protection, development, restoration, contaminated site cleanup and soil/groundwater remediation.
Tom, who founded Spill Center more than 20 years ago, is a former U.S. EPA toxicologist and holds a Juris Doctorate degree as well as a certificate in Hazardous Materials Control and Emergency Response from Georgia Institute of Technology. He will participate in the conference as a panelist with speakers from Zurich Canada on the topic of Zurich's Spill Reporting Online System (SROL). Zurich offers the SROL program to customers at no charge, leveraging the resources of Spill Center for incident reporting, spill management and coordination of site cleanup and remediation.
