Online Spill Reporting Climbs
 
The number of subscribers using the Internet to report spills to Spill Center continues to climb. We've made it fast and easy to provide all the information needed to file incident reports after environmental releases. Plus, the service is available to subscribers around the clock, 365 days a year.
 
To report a spill online, use your Internet browser to go to www.spillcenter.com and click on Report a Spill. That brings up a form with blanks to enter details of the spill, including material spilled, quantity, location, and which regulatory authorities are/were at the scene. Additional questions are answered with Yes, No or Unknown, such as:
  • Has the spill been contained?
  • Did the spill reach water?
  • Has soil been affected by the spill?
  • Any health effects caused by the spill?
  • Is the clean-up complete?
