After several years away from oil painting, Jan discovered pastels in 2005.  Jan loves the immediacy of pastels, the vibrancy of the colors and the tactile nature of the medium.  She's partial to realistic landscapes that usually include a dramatic sky.

Becky Way has been painting in pastel since 1978. Her still lifes include fruit from local markets, favorite family antiques or borrowed objects. Becky draws inspiration for her more impressionistic landscapes from the Oklahoma countryside. She teaches pastel workshops in OK, CO & TX.

                                                 Jude Tolar  "Crimson & Cream"  14 x 11 

Jude's pastel paintings express Beauty & Joy, Light and Design. Her works are lyrical, representational, and often close-up views of flowers and natural wonders.  Jude just returned from New York where one of her paintings was accepted into the Pastel Society of America's Annual Exhibition.

All three women have won numerous awards and have been juried in to national shows.  Between them they have studied with some of the top Pastel Artists in the country; Clive R. Tyler, Terry Ludwig, Lorenzo Chavez & more.  Jan, Becky & Jude are available to teach and demonstrate their various pastel techniques  for individuals and groups.
Meet all 3 Artists at the Opening Friday Night and
come back Saturday to Watch them Paint!
