Grab a bag! It's someone's next meal.

Join millions of people nationwide to help make Super Bowl Sunday, February 6, a time of giving to people in need. Participate by donating money or food at your local H-E-B Store now through Super Bowl Sunday.

Look for the coupon displays at each H-E-B checkout counter to donate $1.00, $3.00, or $5.00 to the Food Bank.  Your donation will be added to your grocery purchase.  Or pick up a $5.00 pre-made bag of canned goods located in displays throughout the store and take it to the checkout counter with your other items.  After you pay for the bag, H-E-B partners will place it in a bin for delivery to the Food Bank for you.

Empty Bowl Benefit for the Food Bank

Sunday, February 27

The Kyle Buda Women Democrats Club will host an Empty Bowl benefit for the Food Bank on Sunday, February 27, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Old Kyle City Hall in Kyle.  The event features beautiful, handmade ceramic bowls for sale at $20.00 each.  The price of the bowl includes homemade soup, bread, cookies, and a drink, all made with love by outstanding cooks in Kyle and Buda.

This is a lunch that will warm your heart many times over. First, as you eat your meal and fellowship with your fellow diners on Sunday afternoon. Then, as you enjoy your unique bowl for years to come, it will be a reminder that your purchase helped feed hungry people in your community.
