December 2009

Celebrate the tradition of giving, the beauty of the Season, and a New Year of Happiness and Peace

Greetings!

As the year comes to a close, we want to say thanks. The economic slowdown has meant a 20% increase in the  number of  people requesting food this year compared to 2008. Your donations have helped put food on the table for many families struggling to make ends meet.  6,537 people in San Marcos, Buda, Kyle, Wimberley, Martindale and outlying areas enjoyed a holiday meal with a  turkey and all the trimmings for Thanksgiving.  Thanks for helping!

Hand in hand, we work together to feed hungry people in our community.  To learn more about the mission of the Food Bank or to donate online, click here.
