Greetings,
The other day in one of our training sessions someone asked if PAM BARS (PB) and modified PAM BARS(MPB) worked on larger time frames. The best way to answer that is to use a larger time frame chart and let you decide for yourself.
Here is a continuous chart of the ES futures, a DAILY CHART.
I've circled the two most recent MPB set ups. On the first one the short entry price was 1328.75. Prices fell to 1296.75 before bouncing back up again. That's 32 handles or 128 ticks per contract. Let's see, each tick is $12.50 and there were 128 ticks so that's $1600.00 per contract. On 5 contracts that was worth $8,000.00. Not too shabby for a mere 4 days .. eh?
The short entry on the second MPB was at 1322.50. Prices dropped to 1259.50 before bouncing back up. Let's see, that was 63 handles or 252 ticks per contract. On 5 contracts that was a $15,750.00 gain. Those two trades produced $23,750.00 in a mere 16 days trading 5 contracts.
OK, let's get real about this. You would not have gotten out at the exact low of each move. Therefore, your actual gains would have been smaller than that ... but not by much. So, do PB's and MPB's work on larger time frames? Well, look at the chart and you decide.
Here is an example of a PB trade we took this afternoon.
Does this stuff work? Well, look at the chart because THE CHARTS DON'T LIE!!
Do you know what a PB is and how to use it? Join us for a mere $10.00 per day.
LEARN and EARN!!
