We've started with some folks on the Kwik*POP Premium Package which includes the KPBBB. Many of you reading this e-mail are wondering how that works. In this update we'll share with you some of the 'innards' of KPBBB.
So, this is a week-end homework assignment for those with the KPBBB. We are going to share a strategy as a starting point for educational purposes. This strategy is an aggressive scalping strategy for those with A.D.D. who also drink a lot of coffee.
It needs to be tweaked and that is the homework assignment, but here are the basics.
It uses 3 contracts per signal. It's all in and all out on a 5 tick profit target, no runners. Losing trades are offset with a close above/below the e-bands.
This strategy averages 3 trades per hour, so you won't have time to read the paper or do e-mails. It starts at 9:00 am, shuts down at 11:30 am. Starts again at 1:00pm and stops at 3:45pm with a flat time on both sessions.
The after commission gain is $33,189.00 from 08/04/2010 through 11/05/2010, which is an average gain of $11,063.00 per month. 90 days is a very short look back profile but this is a starting point in our 'Hunt for THE HOLY GRAIL of trading methods'.
The Percent Profitable number is quite low at 65.26% and the trade frequency is high. This has not been optimized. You can optimize after filtering the settings.Your assignment is on filtering trades to get the win ratio above 72% while not giving up more than 10% on the total gain. The equity curve is going in the right direction, but there is a high frequency of trades than can be filtered down. This strategy is for a 3,350 Volume chart of the ES.
