| Skin Care:
Hydration
Did you know that your skin is the largest organ in your body? We strive to take care of ourselves by eating healthy, exercising, and getting enough rest, but somehow, our skin gets neglected. One simple way to keep skin soft and supple and looking healthy is by drinking water. Dehydrated skin can appear more wrinkled, aged and the pores appear larger. When our skin's health is compromised, bacteria can invade. By staying hydrated, you can not only add a healthy glow to your complexion, but you can also help your skin protect the rest of your body.
An easy tip for how much water you should consume daily is to take your body weight and divide it in half. That is the number of ounces of water you should consume daily for skin and body health. Come in to Accent On Skin to meet with one of our estheticians for more information on ways to make your skin look young and feel healthy!
