,

I love epic movies. The plots are centered upon a hero who engages in a series of great achievements or events which are depicted in grandiose style.
Something stands out about the kings in these tales, both good and evil, who engage in warfare. Those who lead the charge into battle---bravely brandishing their battle-worthy swords---die! The wise rulers who watch the battle from high ground and command from a distance survive to fight another day.
When the king leads heroically into the heat of the battle, all the careful planning, maneuvers and tactics are quickly forgotten. Survival becomes the main focus as  he dodges arrows, eludes javelin thrusts and struggles to stay on his horse. The immediate danger becomes the preeminent concern. Slaying the closest enemy becomes the goal of necessity. Alas, the all important vision to win the battle is lost. He ultimately succumbs to a wound inflicted by a most unlikely, insignificant and unheroic foe or circumstance.
On the other hand, the king who watches the fray from the mountaintop can assess the entire scope of the battle. He commands his army based on complete information. He sees the approaching enemy before the attack. He can change the plan to adapt to the latest circumstances because he has a mountaintop view of the assault.

This month's question:
Are you leading from above the fray or engaged in the battle?

MANAGE FROM THE MOUNTAINTOP
                      Sales Summit
September 27, 2010 - Denver, Colorado

PRIME members understand that to grow their businesses, they must grow their people--particularly their key people. That's why when PRIME meets in September, companies will include their key sales professionals in break out discussions of how to develop an all-pro sales team; the changing role of sales managers; and emerging sales strategies.
In today's environment, it is far too easy to be drawn down into the fray, the heat of the battle. Surviving business owners and sales leaders have deep scars resulting from their battlefield engagements.
We are engaged in business and economic warfare. Regulatory requirements are encroaching from all sides. Informed consumers have derailed our fail-safe sales routine. Money is tight and and the bills keep coming.
What goes on behind the scenes in other successful companies? What do they know that you do not? PRIME gives you the opportunity to ask! You will sit and talk with the industry's leaders..the ones you've read about. You will participate in their success and have the chance to add your insight so that all leave the meeting enriched and empowered.
Topics for discussion are always real-time and relevant. What do top business owners want to know?  That is the question that directs the agenda for PRIME meetings. Real-time. Relevant. Economic. Strategic. Thriving.
PRIME is for those who run successful businesses but continue to pursue the means of achieving more excellent results.
If you are looking to improve your battle plan, strategize with the best!
Call 757.344.4569 today or email joy@ebapproach.com for more information. Applicants must meet criteria to participate.

It begins in the grocery store, at the social event or charity auction. This important workshop will inspire you to

  • Develop your personal brand and people will remember you
  • Market yourself and the leads will follow
Your company will benefit and you will reap the rewards

FAQs and more...FAQs

Q: I keep hearing about PRIME. What is PRIME?
A: The short answer is
  • Professional
  • Remodelers
  • In
  • Management
  • Excellence
PRIME is, in fact, a limited number of industry leaders and remodeling business owners/experts who meet together to discuss current issues and find solutions for doing business in today's economy.

Q: What are the PRIME topics of discussion?
A: All PRIME discussions are real-time and relevant. The change in the business environment has, of course, been a continuing discussion. We have taken the time to assess business fitness, look at today's consumer, analyze and update marketing and sales approaches. Our agenda adapts very quickly to the changes that we see taking place.

Q: Who's in PRIME?
A: PRIME is made up of the nation's largest and finest remodeling companies. Four of these companies have been named "Professional Remodeler of the Year." We have "Fred Case Entrepreneur of the Year" award winners and nominees. There are national franchises and dealerships. Several are listed within the first 50 of Qualified Remodelers Top 500; all fall in the parameters of the top 200. There are single location businesses and multi-location organizations.

Q: What's unique about PRIME?
A:  There is NO OTHER place or group in the world where you can sit down with a council of experts such as these and have industry-specific and in-depth, small group discussions concerning the issues facing your business today. You will network with your peers, gain insight throughout the day and relax, develop valuable relationships and enjoy informal discussions around the dinner table.

Q: Can I be a part of PRIME?
A: It depends. PRIME members must meet certain criteria in order to participate. Members are market exclusive on a direct non-competitive basis.

Q: Do I have to sign up for a full year?
A: No. Attend one meeting to see if PRIME is for you. If you like what you experience, you will want to continue. PRIME members continue because of the dynamic nature of the meetings... not to fulfill a contract or obligation. If you find your first meeting is of no value to you whatsoever, your participation fee will be refunded.

Q: How do I get started?
A: Simply call 757.344.4569 and talk with Joy or email joy@ebapproach.com. Or click here to download and submit the simple survey/application form to get started. PLUS you will receive a copy of Mark Richardson's book or CD, "
How FIT is Your Business?" just for asking!
