 FAQs and more...
Q: I keep hearing about PRIME. What is PRIME? A: The short answer is
- Professional
- Remodelers
- Implementing
- Management
- Excellence
PRIME is, in fact, a limited number of industry leaders and remodeling business owners/experts who meet together to discuss current issues and find solutions for doing business in today's economy.
Q: What are the PRIME topics of discussion? A: All PRIME discussions are real-time and relevant. The change in the business environment has, of course, been a continuing discussion. We have taken the time to assess business fitness, look at today's consumer, analyze and update marketing and sales approaches. Our agenda adapts very quickly to the changes that we see taking place.
Q: Who's in PRIME? A: PRIME is made up of the nation's largest and finest remodeling companies. Four of these companies have been named "Professional Remodeler of the Year." We have "Fred Case Entrepreneur of the Year" award winners and nominees. There are national franchises and dealerships. Several are listed within the first 50 of Qualified Remodelers Top 500; all fall in the parameters of the top 200. There are single location businesses and multi-location organizations.
Q: What's unique about PRIME? A: There is NO OTHER place or group in the world where you can sit down with a council of experts such as these and have industry-specific and in-depth, small group discussions concerning the issues facing your business today. You will network with your peers, gain insight throughout the day and relax, develop valuable relationships and enjoy informal discussions around the dinner table.
Q: Can I be a part of PRIME? A: It depends. PRIME members must meet certain criteria in order to participate. Members are market exclusive on a direct non-competitive basis.
Q: Do I have to sign up for a full year? A: No. Attend one meeting to see if PRIME is for you. If you like what you experience, you will want to continue. If you find the meeting is of no value to you whatsoever, your participation fee will be refunded.
Q: How do I get started? A: Simply call 757.344.4569 and talk with Joy or email joy@ebapproach.com. Or click here to request more information. You will receive a simple survey/application form to get started. PLUS you will receive a copy of Mark Richardson's book, "How FIT is Your Business" just for asking!

$1 Billion is HOW MUCH?! Start counting now and hope to live long enough to finish!
To count out loud to one billion, reciting the numbers in order with their full value (try, for
instance, 472,888,227 - four
hundred seventy-two million, eight hundred eighty-eight thousand, two
hundred twenty-seven)it will take you 95 years to complete your task. Here are some other ways to calculate 1,000,000,000. - One billion seconds ago, it was 1977.
- One billion minutes ago, Jesus was alive.
- One billion dollars is the combined annual sales volume generated by this small elite group of remodelers known as PRIME.

Greetings!
This is an actual conversation I had with a successful owner of multiple franchises (not home improvements) in my town: "These are my boys--Jeff and Tom," the proud dad introduced me to his sons. "I've set them up in a remodeling business. Jeff here closes 93% of the sales calls he goes on. (Jeff beams!) The problem is that Tom can't get his production costs down, he's missing our completion deadlines and we're losing money on every job. (Tom hangs his head.) He just can't keep up with Jeff. I guess that's a good problem to have!" That conversation was wrong on so many levels, that I didn't know how to comment...and seldom am I at a loss for words...or did he have it right? ( To help me out with your thoughts, click here.) This is a confusing time to be in business. The rules have changed and they continue change on a daily basis. This is a time of good news/bad news. The good news is that some economic indicators are up--the bad news is that so is unemployment. Each piece of good news comes with an equally offsetting piece of bad news. Consumer attitudes have changed. Pricing has changed. Material and labor costs have changed. Vendors are more willing to negotiate...and so are you. The financial market has definitely changed. New regulations come with local, state and federal requirements. All these changes make business owners sit back and scratch their heads. What worked just yesterday has a different spin today. What works today may not work tomorrow. Some industry leaders have accepted the changing environment and have decided to play by new rules. These are the companies that will still be thriving in two to five years and beyond. What are the new rules? We are writing them every single day! Are you up to the challenge? Join with the major industry leaders and design your plan through expert collaboration.

When PRIME began just nine months ago, it was our passion to "Build Business Excellence" by bringing together the best in the remodeling industry. Just as competing against the best will sharpen your game, so collaborating with the top minds in the country will sharpen your business and your perspective. What are the the nation's leading companies doing to bring in AND CLOSE more leads? What marketing strategies are working for them? How do they make the tough decisions in a difficult environment? Can answers to these answers help you in your business? PRIME is the newest and most talked about council in the the remodeling industry. One participant said it this way, "PRIME is the graduate school of peer councils!" This is where excellence is hammered out and nailed down!
