In keeping with the tradition of improving the safety and function of the Homestead Karting facility for the annual Florida Winter Tour, new apex curbing has been installed in all corners of the track. No longer will drivers find apex barriers waiting patiently for them to make a mistake, only to chew up the front end of the go-kart. Visibility has been increased 100% all around the facility. Drivers can now see through the corners and look ahead on track. The track layout is now rigid and cannot be moved by drivers bumping barriers out of the way. These minor improvements at Homestead Karting will reap untold benefits for drivers and mechanics alike. Just another step in providing racers with a safer, more affordable form of racing.
