Dear Karting Enthusiast,

      The 2008 Winter Championship has come to a close. With the Summer Championship fast approaching, points have been assessed, drops have been taken, and champions have been declared.
Please look over the results and final point standings for both the Winter Championship Series, and the South Florida Rmax Challenge. 
I would like to thank everyone for another safe, fun season of karting in South Florida, as we look forward to the start of the 2008 Summer Championship Series. Race 1 will be held the weekend of August 30 - 31, 2008 with practice on Saturday, racing on Sunday. Please check the website for important announcements regarding the upcoming awards night @ the Homestead-Miami Speedway.

2008 Rmax Challenge S. Florida

Congratulations to all competitors who met their goals, and better luck in the next series to those who did not do as well as they would have liked. We have some of the best competition in the country here at Homestead Karting and one of the strongest growing Rotax series in North America. We look forward to many podium results on behalf of South Florida community at the Rotax Grand Nationals in Shawano, WI. Mini Max results from Race 6 are official.
      After protest and submission of Jordan Perry's motor to national tech director Scott Evans, Scott has found the motor to be "completely legal" with the protest findings in favor of Perry. Scott has deemed "the results of said race to stand as finished with no change." Click here for Mini Max championship point standings.

Race 1 - Summer Championship Series
August 30 - 31, 2008 
 
The weekend of August 30 -31, 2008 Homestead Karting will host race 1 of the 2008 Summer Championship Series. Event practice will be held Saturday, August 30th from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Race day will be held on Sunday, August 31st. Gates open at 7:30 a.m. on race day with the first practice at 8:45 a.m. Pre-registration is open for the event, and can be done in person @ Homestead Karting durring normal buisness hours (10-4). Tire sales are first come first serve. You may preorder your tires to ensure they are available for you at the race. See you at the track! Click here for a current event calender!
EASYKART GRAND NATIONALS 9/25/08 - 9/28/08
 
The Easykart Grand Nationals have been confirmed for the weekend of 9/25/08 - 9/28/08. Thursday, 9/25/08 will host the first practice day for the event on a new track configuration. Please check the Homestead Karting website regularly for more information on this event as it becomes available. Click here for event information and registration.
