CDC Releases official prevalence rates
On Dec. 18, 2009, the CDC released its autism prevalence study on children age 8 in 2006.  The rate is officially 1 in 110, but the 1 percent of the US population is still consistent with the National Children's Health Study released in September.  The full report can be accessed HERE.

Our first Holiday party deemed a success!

Our first holiday party was a great success!  Here's some feedback we received from families:

The only things I could suggest is that you have the same Santa next year, he was amazing!  -T.S.

My son had a wonderful time, and didn't want to leave.  Everything was well planned out, and everyone seemed to be having a good time. -KB

The activities were great.  The kids really seemed to enjoy themselves.  -LF

Thank you for inviting me to be part of so many family's Christmas last night.  Mrs. Claus and I had a wonderful time!  -SC

We had a great time at the party!  My son meeting Santa, for me, was the best part.  -HB

Good variety of snacks - very well organized - something for everyone.  -CS
