We received the last pitch for the rolle bolle Interclub in Atkinson this Wednesday. Come on out, enjoy some pork, and watch some of our Club's own magicians with the area's finest bolle rollers.
The bags tournament committee is up and running. If you're interested, and you should be, contact Adam Bain.
Gene Smith managed to find his way back into this country and gave us the last gentle reminder for signing up for Birdies. Remember, he knows where you live, so you might as well give in peaceably.
We were delighted to see Milt Hedquist at the meeting, who was recognized for his 95th birthday. Milt will be holding an open house at Friendship Manor, so check your paper or, preferably, with Milt to get the details.
Jeff Behrens moved the agenda along by introducing Secretary Mike Bell for the weekly Fun and Fellow . . . stuff portion of the meeting. The Kartel won the preliminary prize, and Gene Smith not only won the opportunity to go for the grand prize but won the prize as well. In his typical spirited fashion, his winnings were donated to Birdies for Charity.
