President Tom Ketelaar called the meeting of November 14 to order. Once again, Jonathan Turner ably handled the entertainment along with his Kiwanis Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Announcements began with John Califf's reminder of the Division Governor's visit this-coming Saturday at the Putnam. Lieutenant Governor, Mark Peterson, was visiting the Club and expanded on John's comments.

Our ex-officio Cheese Wiz, Tom Plechaty, made his weekly pitch from the back corner of the dining room.
Donna Keim made an announcement concerning the Club membership drive and presented opportunities for accumulating points by various membership development teams.
Alicia Shuman reminded us of the November 20 turkey dinner coming up at Second Baptist Church. Volunteers are needed this Saturday, especially for turkey carving, so if you don't have any injunctions out against you on carrying knives, your help would be greatly appreciated.
Guests included members of the Rock Island High School Key Club, as well as Lieutenant Governor, Mark Peterson, from the Moline Club.
In Fun and Fellowship, the Kartel won the preliminary prize, which Mark Amacher graciously accepted in the interest of cutting losses. The grand prize was won by Mike Swartz, who once again demonstrated that bankers are no match for men of the cloth.
