Season's Greetings !

" People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in their true beauty is revealed only if there is light from within. "

Dear Friends of At Home Solutions:

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukah! A new year is soon upon us. For many, that means new beginnings and staying optimistic that 2010 will bring with it more joy, happiness, laughter and prosperity than last year.

For us, we are excited to announce that we are adding on a second line of service beginning January 1, 2010. We are now able to provide hands on hygiene and medical assistance which includes:

v

Showering Assistance

v        Medication Set ups and administration

v        Transferring Assistance

v        Dressing Assistance

v        Feeding

v        Ambulation Assistance

We will still be offering our regular non-medical Caregiver services at the same rates, but this next level of service allows clients to choose more services when / if they need more assistance.

For your peace of mind and comfort, it is possible to stay safe, secure and independent with compassionate Caregivers and Home Health Care Services. I am thankful for all of you who over the past year have referred us to your loved ones, clients, neighbors or friends who needed a Caregiver.

Please continue to keep us in mind and contact me personally if I can be of any assistance to you or a loved one.

In Gratitude,

Kristin Kopp

36.    The best is yet to come..
37.    When you awake alive in the morning, thank GOD for it.
38.    Your Inner most is always happy. So, be happy

* Featured Caregiver *

  Judy

Our featured caregiver, Judy and her husband Kevin moved here from North Carolina two years ago. They have two grown children who live in Brooklyn NY. After many years of  teaching she wanted to pursue a new career path by helping seniors stay in their homes longer by being a caregiver with At Home Solutions.

Judy  recently assisted one of our clients in creating a special,  lasting gift to the family members by documenting the clients' memoirs and mailing them to relatives. She spent time listening and writing intimate details to make sure the project was done with much care. Judy's compassion inspires all of us to do what ever we can for the people that we serve every day.

Judy says: "Meeting new people,  helping our clients, and learning so much from them makes every day different, challenging and educational.  I love going to work!  Now that winter is here, in my free time I'll be riding my bike inside, ice skating outside and knitting bears for the Mother-bear project.".   Here is the link for it. http://www.motherbearproject.org/

Thank you Judy for being with us and making such a difference simply by being who you are!
