Merry Pranksters with a Mission
The Yes Men at the Mahaiwe
Anti-corporate pranksters, The Yes Men, will present a screening of their new film, The Yes Men Fix the World, followed by a Q&A with director-writer-producer-troublemakers Andy Bichlbaum and Mike Bonanno at the Mahaiwe on Friday, November 20th. The Yes Men pose as corporate bigwigs, infiltrate the world of big business, and scandalize unsuspecting audiences in ways that shame the world's biggest corporate criminals.  In 2004, United Artists released a feature documentary about their hijinks (The Yes Men directed by Chris Smith, Sarah Price, and Dan Olman) which became an instant cult hit, received numerous festival awards, and was distributed theatrically and on television around the globe. Rockwell RevisitedGossips photo - Norman Rockwell
Norman Rockwell: Behind the Camera, which just opened last week at the Norman Rockwell Museum, presents the photography that informs the authenticity that defines Norman Rockwell's art. This landmark exhibition sheds new light on Norman Rockwell's art and is the first exhibition to explore in depth Rockwell's richly detailed study photographs, created by the artist as references for his iconic paintings.
