Contemporary Sculpture at Chesterwood
Contemporary Sculpture Exhibit and Events
The setting at Chesterwood, the former home and studio of Daniel Chester French, inspired the Lincoln monument sculptor with its bucolic beauty and magnificent views.  Let the site inspire you - not just the setting, but the annual Contemporary Sculpture Show, curated this year by MASS MoCA Curator Denise Markonish. This year's theme, Space is the Place, is described by Guest Curator Markonish as "particularly fitting to Chesterwood and the history evident within its site. The grounds of Chesterwood were
designed by Daniel Chester French with the upmost specificity. By situating these works in this idyllic setting, the living space of such an extraordinary place is made evident."  Don't miss out on experiencing this inspiring combination of art and nature - click here for related info and event!
