MASS MoCA Bang on a Can Summer Music Festival
July 16-August 1, 2009
North Adams explodes with music from now through Saturday, August 1, as the fellows and faculty of the Bang on a Can Summer Music Festival use every available space on the MASS MoCA campus and throughout the
community to create and perform new music. Join in the fun daily
(except Sundays) with gallery recitals at 1:30 and 4:30pm, treat your kids
to instrument-making art classes in Kidspace or a morning of musical learning at Kids Can Too, meet Steve Reich on a special weekend devoted to the master of minimalism, and savor the raucous excitement of the Marathon on August 1. For more information please click here!

Free Films for the Whole Family Under the Stars - Get There Early for Sunday@Six !
Starting at 5pm each of the next three Sundays, the streets of downtown Williamstown will be transformed
into a balloon- studded festival with something for every family member. There are art walks, artisans selling their wares,
face-painting, caricatures, non-profits sharing information, extended merchant
hours for shopping convenience and a variety of food options. Take it
all in while listening to local performers who strum, sing and play toe tapping
tunes. Follow this with a FREE outdoor film presented by Images Cinema in Williamstown also on the next fhree Sundays... The films are presented on Chapin Lawn of Williams College, right off Rt. 2,
near the top of Spring Street. Admittance is free and open to all. In case of
