Bascom Lodge was built at the summit of Mt. Greylock
in the Berkshires of Massachusetts by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the
1930s to provide accommodations for hikers, vacationers and nature
enthusiasts. Stone fireplaces, high ceilings with hand-cut spruce beams,
and a porch with large windows provide an ideal atmosphere for dining while enjoying the finest views in the Berkshires. Bascom Lodge is now offering talks on nature and culture related to the mountain and the Berkshires. Talks are free and open to the public.
Talks starts at 7pm - Beekeeping will be the topic on July 15th. A family-style dinner will be served at 8pm.
For more information on pricing and to make a reservation, please call 413-743-1591 or visit bascomlodge.net.
